A good word for something that means a lot to you is cherished.
Many students have a lot of items, people, and other things that they deeply cherish.
“My journal means a lot to me,” Susannah Wilkerson, senior, said. “It is a way I can track emotions, vent, and just say how I feel without being judged. My journal is my most prized possession.”
“My girlfriend means a lot to me. She’s always there for me, rooting for me, and pushing me to be a better man everyday,” Colby Haskins, senior, said.
Not only do students have items that mean a lot to them, they also have people in their life that they think highly of.
“I know this might seem crazy to say, but my Body Armor drink means a lot to me,” Jaime Simental, senior, said. “I say this because it always keeps me hydrated. It really is my favorite drink, and I might just really throw a tantrum if they get rid of it one day.”
“Something that means a lot to me is all the birthday cards, gifts, and just little things my grandmother gave me before she passed away,” Loren Witcher, freshman, said. “I never knew that my grandmother would pass away while I was so young, but I always kept the gifts she gave me in her remembrance. I will never throw them away, and they mean so much to me.”
