The thought of life after high school can be very nerve-wracking for upcoming graduates.
Students were both nervous and excited.
“What makes me really nervous about the real world is the amount of debt I’d be in,” Susannah Wilkerson, senior, said.”Taxes can also cause lots of people to drown in an immense amount of debt. On the other hand, “I’m looking forward to freedom of choice and only worrying about myself,” Wilkerson said. “I can finally have a say over my own life.”
“I’m more afraid of the unknown that no one talks about,” Madison Brown, senior, said. “I’ve always been more concerned about not knowing what could potentially happen in the future. I would say I’m most excited about freedom also, able to have room to grow into who I want to be,” Madison Brown said.
“I feel more afraid of not being happy or feeling incomplete,” Savannah Morris, senior, said.” I don’t want to feel alone once I’m separated from all of my friends. My goal that excites me the most is being a wife and mother,” Morris said. “I’ve longed to have my very own family one day.”
“I’m not too concerned about anything after high school; I can’t wait to get out of here,” Matt Marlowe, senior, said.
