Graduation is a big deal for this year’s seniors.
The school year has gone by quickly, with lots of snow and ice days, and it is hard for the seniors to believe that this is the last high school year for them.
The students have grown, met milestones, and are getting ready to celebrate their achievements.
Football games, homecoming, winter formals, and prom have made the year special.
Seniors plan to continue their life after high school.
“I am excited to start my life outside of school,” Emily Kistler, senior, said. “I have made a lot of memories over the years of being in high school, and I am somewhat happy that it is ending, but I am glad to make more memories down the road.”
The class of 2025 was dedicated to making sure that they did well in their academics, athletics, and making new friends.
“I have worked hard all four years, and I am thrilled that everyone gets to see my hard work on graduation day,” Kennedy Hanks, senior, said. “I have been involved in a lot of things throughout high school, and I am happy that I can look back on all the fun memories that I have made.”This school year did not have the full experience of being in middle school because of COVID-19.
Current seniors had a disrupted education because of Covid. They skipped from middle school to directly to high school which was not easy.
It was a whirlwind for the seniors but they managed to make it work for what they were given.
