Cavalier Chronicle news stories are becoming a central part of the high school experience.
The goal of the news stories are to lift everyone up and brighten peoples’ days.
“It’s good information to get to know people better,” Quintavia Witherspoon, senior, said. “To be honest I’ve always been down to learn how to write stories.”
“They [news stories] are informative, and they tell stories that interest people,” Markayla Mayo, junior, said. “Learn interview skills and simply write.”
Stories help the students stay informed and can be exciting and fun.
“Some are good to read and some are confusing because students are learning, but it’s fun to do,” Leah Bridgeforth, senior, said. “I say to do it; it’s fun to do and just enjoy your experience.”
“I think the stories are good for the CHS students,” Anaysia Redd, senior, said. “It lets us have an opinion on something. I say go for it! It’s fun to hear about different opinions on certain topics.”
