This week’s Senior Spotlight is Bobbie Brownlee.

Senior year is full of emotion and memories.
“My senior year has been good so far; it’s been better than last year,” Bobbie Brownlee said. “My classes though have been way harder this time. I’ve had to look over notes and study for the first time.”
There are many clubs and after school activities seniors can join.
Brownlee is involved in the Kindness Club and Beta Club. She enjoys being part of them and all the amazing memories she has made with her friends that are also in the clubs.
There are so many things to look forward to this senior year.
“I am looking forward to Christmas break to spend with my family and friends,”” Brownlee said.
She has mixed emotions on graduating.
“I’m going to miss my friends and teachers because they have supported me throughout this journey, and I truly don’t know what I would do without them,” Brownlee said. “On the other hand, I won’t miss school. I’m both excited and nervous about graduating. I’m excited to be done with school but nervous about what I’m going to do after high school and becoming independent.”
A goal is major to feel confident about the future.
“I’m thinking about going to college maybe,” Brownlee said. “I haven’t decided where to attend, but I want to major in elementary school education. But before I go to college (if I do attend) I plan to travel in the summer.”
Brownlee has advice for underclassmen.
“The advice I would give to a younger student is you hate it [school] a lot and it’s totally understandable, but hold onto the memories, make friends, join clubs, fall in love, get your heart broken. Do everything you can while you can. Because when that moment [graduation] hits, everything just gets so stressful and you’ll wish that you had more time to do what you never did. You don’t really have time to do any of that senior year.”
