The Chatham football team went against Dan River Wed, Oct. 27.

In the first quarter, Dan River scored a three yard touchdown making the score 7-0. Chatham had the ball on the 30 yard line and threw a Pick 6 to Dan River making the score 14-0. The Cavaliers had a 3 and out, giving Dan River the ball in Chatham territory. Dan River scored a 10 yard touchdown making the score 20-0

In the second quarter, The Cavaliers held Dan River  to zero scores. Senior Mason Anderson scored a one yard touchdown making the score 20-7.

In the third quarter, Dan River scored a 9 yard touchdown making the score 27-7.

In the fourth quarter Dan river had 2 touchdowns making the final score 43-7.

Stars of the game were Junior Dermont Kyle with 40 Yards on 10 carries. Senior Chance Long had 34 yards on 9 carries, and Junior Kendall Saunders had 80 receiving yards

Chatham’s last game is against Gretna on Tues.,  Nov. 2, at home.
