Students who are willing to work should have no difficulty finding a job in Chatham.

Currently, McDonald’s, Hardee’s, Food Lion, and Subway need employees. These jobs require little skills; just a willingness to work and learn, and be flexible with working hours.

Senior Jake Shorter, works at Subway and loves it. “It’s great! We get 50% off of any food. Employees start off at minimum wage and the management staff is really nice. At the end of the interview, they will tell you if your hired or not, which will save you time from having to call them back.”

Subway is also in need of new hires as Jake also said “We would like extra hands; there’s a lot to do and the more help we can get the less work everyone will have.”
