Exciting December Films to Come
Streaming services are releasing new films to release this December in theatres and online.
The much anticipated Spiderman: No Way Home and the lesser known film American Underdog and a multitude of other options for entertainment this month.
The most hyped movie of the month, Spiderman: No Way Home, has fans going crazy on the Internet dissecting and analyzing movie trailers and theories. It is rumored (and mostly actually confirmed) that Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman will accompany Tom Holland’s Spiderman on the big screen.
While most fans are excited, some fans like Ramsey Ferrugia, junior, think otherwise. Ferrugia said, “I have low expectations for Spiderman because the past movies have been bad.” Ramsey is excited for some movies such as the remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street. Ferrugia said, “I think this will be a big month for movies given that it is the holiday season and more people will have time to go out.”
As far as lesser-hyped movies, some upcoming movies include the sequel to Sing, Sing 2, and the previously mentioned, American Underdog.
American Underdog tells the story of Kurt Warner becoming a Hall of Fame quarterback and his journey to get there. Sing 2 follows up the ending of Sing and follow the funny animated characters into a new journey.
While Spiderman: No Way Home is more targeted at older kids and teens and has a PG-13 rating, Sing could be classified as targeted towards younger children (hence the PG rating). American Underdog is also rated PG, but is suitable for all ages and could be enjoyed by children and adults alike.
December is a great time for movies and it’s no doubt that this December will have an exiting, diverse reel of films.
