Opinions On Dress Code

No one is neutral about school dress codes.

Students disagree about the dress code policy.

“It [the dress code] doesn’t allow us to express our creativeness with our clothes,” said Kevanna Gibson, ninth grader.

“I don’t understand why we can’t were hats!” said Semiyah Royal, ninth grader.

Others believe that it is reasonable to have a dress code.

“We come to school to learn; that should be the main focus,” a teacher said. Another teacher agreed.

“I have no problem with the dress code,” the teacher said. “I think its pretty fair,” another teacher said.

“Hoods in the cold should be allowed because in the winter it does get cold,” said a teacher.
