Senior Spotlight: Abby Totten

Abby Totten is a smart and athletic senior.

She is happy and excited about being a senior, but she’s ready to leave high school. “I plan to attend JMU and major in health sciences after high school,” she said.

She played basketball, soccer, and participated in FCA and the BETA club.

The advice she gives to the incoming freshmen is to take their grades seriously.

“One thing that’s changed about me from when I was a freshman to now is my looks,”Abby said.

“I don’t need friends to make it through high school,” she said, laughing because she has too many to name.

Her favorite class in high school was any of her science and math classes because those are her favorite subjects.

“The worst thing about being a senior is that I have to leave all my underclassmen friends.” Abby said.

The highlight of her senior year is prom and graduation because it will be fun and she’s ready to leave high school.

High school was easy for her because she worked hard.
