The Senior Spotlight for this week is Ellie Burley.

“High school was very stressful at times, but I have made great memories here,” Burley said.

She was a varsity cheerleader her sophomore and senior year and she participated in BETA club.

“I plan on going to Aveda Institute in Chapel Hill during the fall in order to become an esthetician,” she said.

Her advice to the upcoming freshmen is “These four years will go by fast; make them last and enjoy every moment.”

“My favorite subject is English, and my favorite teacher was Mrs. Maxey.

Ellie’s favorite memory from high school was the pep rally my sophomore year, and she wished that we were able to have one this year.
