Wounded Warriors is the beneficiary of recent FFA week.

During National FFA Week, FFA members share the benefits of agriculture with their fellow students and their communities. “FFA week helps promote our organization,” Mrs. Cassidy Shelton, an FFA ambassador, said “I hope that the spirit days boost the morale of our students and staff.”  

 “During FFA Week, our chapter is giving back to the Wounded Warriors project. I support the mission of Wounded Warriors,” Shelton said. “Wounded Warriors is an organization whose focus is on the veterans that served on and after Sept. 11, 2001, and were injured.”

“FFA’s mission is to provide students with premier leadership skills, personal growth, and career success,” Shelton said. “ These skills apply directly to real life situations, such public speaking skills that our officers go through.”
