Students who participated in Spirit Week think some changes would be positive, but overall, most everyone enjoyed the experience.
“Generation day was my favorite because so many people participated,” Hannah Wilson, senior, said. “The only thing I would have changed is, I would do “Anything But a Bookbag Day.” I feel like Greenleigh Stewart, junior, should have won first or second place in Most Spirited, but everyone did an amazing job dressing up,” Wilson said.
“This year’s Spirit Week was fun because everyone dressed up, and it was interesting to see all the different outfits,” Tara Hatcher, senior said. “A few of the days were a little hard to find things for since I didn’t want to go out and spend a lot of money. Pajama day would have been great, but the main thing I would change would be for everyone to have been able to dress up on Friday,” Hatcher said.
Other students wouldn’t change anything about our Spirit Week.
“All of the days were fun, and it was hilarious watching all the different costumes,” Mary Ross, senior, said. “Madison and Autumn deserved to win [Most Spirited Award]. They both put a lot of effort and money into their outfits, and theirs were the best I had seen everyday,” Ross said.
“I am biased because I helped pick most of the days, but I thought they were all fun, and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them,” Madison Swanson, senior, said. “I am so glad I got Most Spirited. I worked really hard on each outfit, and I know Autumn did too; so in my opinion, we both deserved it,” Swanson said.
