CHS Welcomes New Livestock Animal

Albert the goat, arrived to CHS early fall-semester to help agriculture students gain experience with livestock.

He was born in June and is five months old.

Albert arrived at CHS on Election Day, Nov. 2.

He’s here until the Pittsylvania County Livestock Show.

The agriculture students take care of him along with the agriculture teacher.

He stays at the school every day and night.

Albert’s diet consists of hay and pellets.

He leaves at the end of April.

Right after we snapped this picture of Albert, he got his horns stuck in the fence.
