Stardew Valley is an Indie game originally made by one developer, ConcernedApe, in 2016.
The cozy, sandbox style game lets the player play as a farmer. The player can decorate his/her farm, make relationships with the townspeople, and make money in various ways: including fishing, selling crops, and completing quests.
The atmosphere is very calm with simplistic music and pixelated visuals that create the perfect environment to play snugly under a blanket at home this holiday season.
It is available on Steam for PCs, the App Store for mobile devices, and the Nintendo Eshop on the Nintendo Switch.
