Sweet tea: Love it or hate it there is a hot debate about who has the best.

“I think Bojangle’s has the best sweet tea because, unlike other restaurants, their tea doesn’t taste watered down,” Esirah Scott, sophomore, said.

A large sweet tea from Bojangle’s contains an average of 170-700 calories;  their small sweet tea which has up to 71 calories.

A regular sweet tea from Bojangle’s has a total of 47.5 grams of sugar.

Chick-fil-A’s freshly brewed tea contains 120 calories.

“Chick-fil-A has the best sweet tea because it is not too bland and not too sweet,” Katelyn Stowe, sophomore, said.

“I think Chick-fil-A sweet tea is the best because it has the perfect level of sweetness,” Isabel Wyatt, sophomore, said.

“I don’t drink sweet tea that often because there are other drinks that I prefer more,” Wyatt, said.

Sweet is helpful to your health because it is like a multivitamin and it’s very helpful for your cholesterol.

“I don’t read the nutritional facts about the tea I drink so it doesn’t change how I feel about it,” Stowe, said.

“The calories in the sweet tea wouldn’t change my choice but i do feel like the calories would affect my health in the future,” Scott said
