Students have started counting down the days until summer break.
Many have the beach and other fun activities planned.
“I am going to the beach because it’s not too hot and it’s not too cold, so I think it’s the perfect time to go,” Edison Hix, junior, said. “I am going to spend summer break with my friend and with my family”
“I’m going to Florida with my friends and family because we’ve always wanted to go,” Brycen Collins, freshman, said. “I’m spending summer break with my family and my best friend, and I think it’s going to be really good going to a new place and getting out of the house.”
Others are looking forward to hanging out at home.
“I’m going to be spending summer break at my house because my family didn’t have anything planned this year,” Victoria Farthing, sophomore said. “I’m going to be with my mom and my brother, and I’m hoping it’s going to be calm and relaxing with no work to do.”
“During break I will be going shopping and hanging out with friends when I’m not at work,” Tamirr Smith, junior said. “I’ll be happy to be out of this school. Summer needs to hurry up.”
