As seniors prepare to turn their tassels, graduation marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another.
Students reflect on their high school memories and decide what comes next.
“After I graduate, I am going to miss all of my friends with whom I am parting ways with; I will also miss all of the teachers who helped me get to where I am today,” Jaiden Lipford, senior, said. “After graduation, I am going to do so many fun things this summer, then I will pack for college.”
“When I graduate, I won’t miss much, besides the friends I have made over the years,” Meagan Yeatts, senior, said. “After graduation I will attend a beauty school in Lynchburg in the winter, and I will study massage therapy and esthetics there for eight months before completing the final test to get my license.”
After graduation, I will miss the routine, the friends I’ve made over the years, and the teachers that helped me along the way,” Faith Hyler, senior, said. “Once I finish school, I am going to Roanoke College, and I will be studying psychology.”
“When I graduate, I will miss all of my many friends who helped shape me into a better man,” Linwood Crawley, senior, said. “I am not completely certain about my plans after graduation, but I know I want to begin working and building my future.”
As seniors move on to new chapters, they leave behind memories that will last a lifetime.
