It’s going to snow a lot this weekend and students are preparing for it.
Most students are excited for the snow and can’t wait to get to get out of school.
“We are probably going to have up to three feet of snow depends on what time it starts snowing,” William Goode, sophomore, said. “I’m excited for the snow because I get to chill in the house, and my mama has been going to the grocery store buying food, water, toilet paper, and milk.”
“It’s going to be up to a foot or two of snow, and I hope it starts Thursday night,” Naomi Davis, junior, said. “I’m ready for the snow so we don’t have to wake up early, and my family has been stocking up on groceries since Monday, especially toilet paper and water.”
“It’s gonna be two and a half feet of snow this weekend,” Jacob Thompson, junior, said. “I’m ready to relax in my bed and enjoy the snow days, but my mom went to the grocery store Thursday and got a bunch of food, water, and toilet paper. We also went and got a generator and some gas just in case the power goes out.”
Some students don’t like the snow at all.
“I can’t stand snow, because it’s always cold outside, and my power be going out,” Landon Taylor, sophomore, said. “Another reason I don’t like the snow is because we have to make up snow days in May pushing our summer break back like a week.”
“Snow sucks; it gets very cold in my room and outside,” Damar Murphy, sophomore, said. “I get to relax at home because of it but in May we have to be at school for an extra week or two to make up the days we missed.”
