The Varsity Girls Basketball team is currently undefeated this season, and the fans are loving the team this season.
Fans are excited to see how the rest of the season will go for the Lady Cavs.
“I think they will go 23-0, and if they play together, and stick together they will go to states,” Najaylen Jamison, sophomore, said.
“I feel like they have a very good chance to win states, but the competition is going to be tough,” Mr. Patrick Riley, CRE teacher, said.
“The Lady Cavs will definitely win regionals if they play how I know that they can play,” Loren Witcher, sophomore, said.
“This team has grown significantly, and I think that they have a great chance to win Regionals,” Shara Clark, senior, said.
Fans love how the Lady Cavs play as a whole.
“This girls’ team has been the best team Chatham has had since 2004,” Mr. Whitt Farr, English teacher, said, “Everyone is always having fun and plays hard regardless of the score.”
“I like how the girls play at a fast pace and run the ball up and down the court,” Jaiden Witcher, freshman, said. “I hope they make it to states.”
“I love watching them play; I look up to them and the way they play together as a team,” Mariah Dickerson, freshman, said, ” They never give up on each other and that’s one thing I love about varsity girls.”
“The girls have been so aggressive since the season started; the ladies play good defense and play as a team,” Mrs. Ann Mayo, SPED teacher, said, “The season has been fantastic as the team progresses to the finals.”
The Lady Cavs are expected to continue to bring positivity and happiness on and off the court.
