After school activities offer options for students.
Some people want more options, but others are satisfied.
“I would enjoy community meetings with food,” Ella Oldham, freshman. “This would help students connect. I would also start a sign language club. Sometimes students don’t get the communication as to when the meetings happen. I think this would help participation.”
Some people think otherwise.
“I believe the school already has a large amount of activities and would not add more,” Mrs. Gery said, a Spanish teacher. “However, a cultural club focused on multiple languages would be good; I just don’t want to lead it. I do believe more students should get more involved.”
“Being out of school is better than being in school,” Ghabrial Sexton, a sophomore, said.
“I believe that activities could help make school more enjoyable,” Ms. Ester Darko, college advisor, said.
