Ka’maiya Smith is in the student spotlight this week.

“I love cheering; I have been cheering for Chatham since I was seven-years-old. I cheered for the JV team this year. I also cheer for Elite Eagles Cheer which is a competitive cheer.  Cheering has always been my favorite sport,” said Smith.

She is busy outside of school.

” I like to sleep, eat, and talk to my boo outside of school,” said Smith. “I like to hangout with friends outside of school and listen to my favorite artist Summer Walker.”

Smith plans to go to college and cheer or she might try volleyball while thre. “I  want to go to Tennessee State or Florida A&M University an major in nursing,” said Smith.
