“I like country music the best because of the stories they tell while singing the song,” Jacobi Bradner, freshman, said.

“I think country music is my favorite because I can relate to the lyrics,” Robin (Leighann) Gibson, freshman, said.

“Hip-hop and rap music accounted for 21.7% of total music consumption in the United States,” Google said.

“Rap music is my favorite because I like the beats and the fast pace of the music,” Aiden Harmon, freshman, said.

“R&B are now responsible for 25.1% music consumption in the United States,” Google said.

“My favorite type of music is either R&B or rock,” Kylee Taylor, freshman, said. “I think that listening to this music calms me.”
