A way to keep the love flowing in a relationship is to go on date nights.
Date nights are times where men can show their women they care and want to spend time together.
“I feel like a perfect date night is a night at Chick-fil-la then go to the mall or to get some gifts then a nice car ride home,” Cam Tucker, senior, said. “For my date I would like to dress nice in an alo quarter zip, black pants, and some designer shoes. For the nice occasion I would take my girl to Downtown Raleigh. On a date I feel like it depends on who sets it up but if I were to set the date up I would pay for it, but if my girl was to pay for it then we would go 50/50. The max I would spend on a date is $500.”
Women have similar ideas.
“The perfect date night is all about dressing up and going out to eat at a nice restaurant and going to the mall,” Alyssa King, junior, said. “On the date I would wear a pretty dress and some heels to match. A place I feel is romantic for a date is Greensboro, NC. On the first date I think the man should pay for it, but after that if we had another date I’d pay, but the most I would pay is $250.”
Most agree that dressing up is part of the fun.
“A perfect date night is dressing up really fancy with your significant other and going to a really fancy restaurant and enjoying each other’s presence,” Anaysia Redd, senior, said. “I would wear a really cute dress with sandals and some jewelry on a date. A romantic date can be somewhere in Charlotte, NC. For the first date the man should pay for the whole tab, but if I were to pay it would be $200 or less depending on the restaurant.”
“My version of a perfect date is watching the sunset together and exchanging memories of our childhood,” Jasmine Smoot, freshmen, said. “I would wear a cute sundress with some sandals to match. The place I feel is romantic and would like to go is Panama City, FL. I don’t have a say in who pays for the tab because my man pays for everything.”
