The 2025-26 Beta Club is participating in the Virginia State Convention this February.
They will compete in various competitions: both singular and team events. They compete in various academic and artistic events.
Last year’s competitions were held at Hampton Roads Convention Center Feb. 9-10, 2024. The theme was “Radiate.”
They competed in several academic competitions, and won team events: Living Literature, Digital Portfolio, and Premier Performer Senior Division.
“Last year’s convention was an amazing experience, and I can’t wait for next year,” Bobbie Brownlee, senior, said.


This year’s Convention will be held on February 7-8, 2025. The theme is “Wired for Success.”
They plan on competing in most of the available tests and events. Some of the competitions are 3-D design, Engineering, Scrapbook, and On-site Drawing.
This will be the third year they’ve participated in the convention.
