Club members enjoyed the experience and cannot wait to go back.
“It was fun working together to accomplish our goal,” Aaron Riley, engineering team member, said. “It was more eventful than last year because Colin Soyars ran for National Beta State President, and we brought a lot more people.”
Since it was the first time Chatham had ever competed in the Show Choir competition, some were surprised when they won first place.
“We worked really hard but it was still really unexpected when we won,” Abigail Custer, Show Choir member, said. “We did not think we would do that good.”
Beta club is already thinking about next year’s convention and how they can make it even better.
