With summer right around the corner, students dream of where they could go.
“My ideal vacation is anywhere tropical with a beach,” Peyton Owen, junior, said. “The beach just brings the life back into me.”
Some other students like the beach as well.
“I would love to visit Bondi Beach in Australia,” Emily Shelhorse, sophomore, said. “I would go just to surf.”
Another said something similar.
“My dream vacation spot is the Bahamas because the water is pretty,” Brandon Brooks, sophomore, said. “However, this summer I’m going to Myrtle Beach.”
Other students do not dream of going to the beach.
“My dream vacation is Switzerland or Ireland because I want to go hiking in the Alps,” Eva Ince, junior, said. “I currently do not have any upcoming trips planned, though.” ![]()
Another student dreams of visiting a very different continent.
“I would love to go to Antarctica because I like the cold, and I want to test myself in that environment,” Neal Barker, sophomore, said. “I am actually going to dirty Myrtle to see dolphins.”
Students also mentioned where they were actually going this summer.
“I am going to Italy, France, and Spain this summer,” Shelhorse, said. ” I am really excited!”
Another student is staying a little bit closer to home.
“I am actually going to Myrtle beach and New York for summer camp,” Owen, said.
