Graduation: Why is it a big deal?

Graduation from high school is a big deal in a  young person’s life.

”Of course it’s important. Seniors work their way up to that day and the energy and work that you have put into gaining a qualification,”  Carys Johnson, senior, said.

”Graduation is a big deal; you only graduate from high school once,” Abby Sexton, senior, said.

”It’s a once in a lifetime experience to dress up in your cap and gown, and to celebrate your achievement of making it through high school,”  Mallory Farrell, senior, said.

”Graduating is not something you do everyday; it’s not even something that everybody gets to do in their lifetime.,’ Seth Taylor, senior, said.

”I believe graduation is symbolism that things are about to change in your life; things will be different. You’ll be in different environments, with different people,” Canaan Sloane, senior said.

”It’s all about celebrating your success in graduating the toughest four years ever! Your family and friends are there to help celebrate your achievement,” Alexis Colson, senior, said.

”It’s the first milestone into adulthood,” Miranda Quarles, college advisor, said.

”Some are first generation graduates in their family, and it may be the only source of education they are to get in their life, ” Quarles, said.
