Vibrantly colored leaves fall, signaling the cycle to winter.
“I like fall more than winter because I like the weather, ” Aubrey Puckett, freshman, said. “I get to spend time with friends and family on Thanksgiving and Christmas break. I do like the snow when it is clean, and it is great to throw at people. I do like the fall because it’s not too cold. I love pumpkin spice drinks in the fall.”
“I don’t like winter because all the colorful leaves fall, “Payson Keller, junior, said. “I love fall the color of the leaves in fall are beautiful, ” she said. “I am excited because I get to eat food and give gifts to people I love. I don’t like the cold but I like the look of clean snow. I like hot cocoa because it is so creamy, chocolatey; it warms me up.”
Many students appreciate the cooler weather.
“I like the winter because it is colder, ” Ian Weaver, junior, said. “I am excited for the holidays because I might get a car for Christmas. I like to build snowmen. I like hot chocolate as a winter drink because it is chocolate.”
The fall and winter holidays are much anticiptaed.
“I am happy winter is coming cause I like Christmas, ” Bella Park, sophomore, said. “I am excited because we are out for a break, and I get presents for Christmas. I like to make snow angels. I like hot chocolate with marshmallows as the best combination. “
“I am happy because I love New Year’s and Christmas; they are my favorite holidays, ” Julee Murray, sophomore, said. “I like fall more because I bake more in the fall than winter. I’m excited because I like building snowmen and watching Christmas movies. I don’t like the cold because I am a cold person. I prefer hot chocolate; I don’t like coffee.”
“I am happy because my birthday is in December, and so is Christmas, ” Noah Wayne, junior, said. “I like to play in the snow with my siblings. I like winter’s cold because I get to wear warmer clothes. “
