Students showed support for Future Farmers of America (FFA) by dressing up for FFA Spirit Week.
Monday was flag day, where students dressed in red, white, and blue to celebrate the colors of the American flag.
“I am the advisor of the FFA club,” Miss Allison Reiter, FFA teacher, said. “I dressed up because I organized the week and to show support for my club. I think more students should join FFA for the opportunities, especially if they’re interested in a future involved in agriculture; there are a lot of skills to be learned in agriculture, like public speaking, and leadership roles.”

Tuesday was Farmer Day.

“I dressed up to match with someone and to support FFA, even if I’m not in it,” Elena Eichinger, senior, said. “I’m dressed as a turkey for Tuesday’s theme, and I think people should join FFA to learn more about ag and growing food.”

Wednesday was Carhart day, Thursday was camo day, and Friday was FFA color day: Corn gold and National blue.
“I am not in FFA,” Elizabeth Yeatts, senior, said. “I dressed up for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, to show support to the Chatham FFA club. People should join FFA because it seems like a really good way to get into the agriculture business.”
