Sometimes people wish they could switch places with someone else in the world.
Some students would choose to switch places with their own family members.
“I would switch places with my sister, Lacy,” Khloe Taylor, freshman, said. “She does what she wants and lives a good life. During a day in her life, I would be able to drive wherever I want or visit her lake house. If I had to choose something to take from her life to bring into mine, I would choose the way she dresses. If she switched places with me, it would be hard for her to adjust to being in school again.”
“I would choose to switch places with my aunt, Katie,” Nadia Rigney, freshman, said. “I chose her because I want to be a vet when I am older, and she has already gone through vet school. She also has a big house with a nice pool. In a day in her life, I would work at the vet clinic and be able to see if that’s really what I want my occupation to be. The hardest part about her switching places with me would be her being back in school. If I could bring one thing from her life into mine, it would be her heated pool.”
Some students would rather switch places with celebrities.
“I would trade places with Mr. Beast [a youtuber who specializes in challenges],” Melody Hyler, freshman, said. “I chose Mr. Beast because I would be able to see what life would be like being rich. During a day in his life, I would travel to Italy because I’ve always wanted to go there. I would hope to be able to learn how to earn and spend money correctly. The most difficult thing for him, if he were in my life, would be having to be broke again. If I could take anything from his life, I would bring myself one million dollars.”
“I would definitely switch places with Angelina Jolie, “Jaiden Lipford, senior, said. “I have always looked up to her. I love her personality and her sense of fashion. One skill I would love to learn from her would be how to act because it piques my interest. If we traded places, she would probably struggle with the lifestyle change and living in a small town. One thing I would bring back would definitely be her style.”
