High school can be scary when students are new to the building.
Some students were scared of having no friends and getting lost.
“I was so scared of having no friends when I entered high school,” Rayleigh Emerson, freshman, said. “But, when I finally got to high school, I realized it was not as bad as I thought.”
“I was mostly scared about getting lost,” Nirvana Beame, junior, said. “I soon realized the school is much bigger on the outside than it is on the inside.”
Other students were afraid of being bullied.
“My biggest fear was definitely getting bullied,” Hannah Johnson, freshman, said. “Getting bullied is still a fear of mine, but it is not as bad as it was before.”
“I was mostly afraid of being bullied by my older brother and his friends,” Ally Paris, freshman said. “I soon realized that he wouldn’t bully me, he’d just look after me.”
