Expensive dates are fun to plan for your partner.
Five hundred dollars is more than enough money to make your partner feel special.
For some people fun is the number one goal for dates.
“For my date I would take them out to a fun place like an amusement park, arcade, the movies, go shopping, or make reservations at a nice restaurant and then end the night with fun games at home,” Naomi Gregory, junior, said. “I would give them all my attention and take them to their favorite place and buy their favorite things. Also, to be able to do all these things I would spend wisely by spending around $150 for the amusement park, $200 for shopping, $100 for dinner, and I would give the money left over to them. I feel like nice and genuine people deserve this kind of date.”
“A fun activity, the movies, a picnic, mini golf, and bowling is the perfect plan for a date,” Ma’khayiah Hairston, junior, said. “I’d plan this date around what they like to make them feel special. I would split the money in between shopping and dinner. My bestie Naomi Davis deserves this date.”
Sports are the number one go-to dates for others.
“I would probably plan for us to go to the movies, World of Sports in South Boston, and then go out to a nice dinner,” Melody Hyler, senior, said. “To make them feel special I would get them all their favorite things. I would spend $200 for World of Sports, $50 for the movies, $100 for dinner, and spend the money left over for extra ideas. I think sweet and loyal people like my man deserves this kind of date.”
Some feel like being outside for a date is a good idea.
“I would plan something depending on the season, like indoor or outdoor activities such as watching movies, baking, going to the beach, or skydiving,” Janiyah Pinchback, sophomore, said. “So that they feel special, I would give them the things they like, respect them, care about their feelings, and also pay attention to the way they like to handle things just in case they do it in a certain type of way. I would spend the $500 on something that is worth needing like clothes, shoes, and whatever is left would be saved. I feel like my best friend from eighth grade, whom I don’t see anymore because I moved schools, deserves this date.”
