Students often bond over favorite movies and TV shows.
They can connect and engage in conversations that extend beyond the classroom.
Some students prefer TV shows over movies.
“I favor TV shows because I have a short attention span, and it feels shorter to watch lots of episodes rather than watching a movie,” Abigail Wyatt, freshman, said. “My favorite TV show is Grey’s Anatomy because I’ve always wanted to be a doctor.”
“I like TV shows more because they build deeper stories and characters than movies,” Meagan Yeatts, senior, said. “My go-to show right now is definitely From because I love the storyline and how I can feel the emotion through the screen.”
Others prefer movies.
“I favor movies over TV shows because movies can tell complete stories in less time,” Brooke Deak, sophomore, said. “My all time favorite movie is definitely Hotel Transylvania 3 because I love how they showed Dracula healed after the passing of his beloved wife.”
“I like movies over TV shows because they are more satisfying and don’t leave out details,” Susannah Paris, freshman, said. “My favorite movie is The Notebook because its emotional story is powerful and unforgettable.”
Favorite movies and shows bring students together.
