You will need: 

• Yarn 
• Glue gun/Glue sticks
• Felt 
• Buttons
• Scissors 

1. yarn around hand into a big bundle

2. Take a long thread of yarn and loop it through the middle of the bundle while still wrapped around hand

3. Tie the string off

4. Remove bundle from hand and cut the bundle in half opposite to the tie

5. Trim the “beard” if desired

6. Tie a knot in the top of the long string, set aside while you work on the Gnomes hat

7. Cut a semi-circle out of felt 

8. Fold the semi-circle into a cone shape by meeting the two sides

9. Glue together, leaving a gap at the top

10. Trim the bottom of the hat flat

11. Feed the long string from the beard through the bottom of the hat and out the top

12. Glue the gap at the top of the cone closed securing the thread used to tie the beard.

13. Glue a button in between the hat and the beard.
