Should We Have More Electives

Free Printable Pack: Plan Your High School Electives

Both high school students and faculty think we need more electives.

“We should have more electives like a black history class,” Xence Rodgers, junior, said.

“We should have an athletic class and a mental health class,”Amiracle Starling, junior, said.

“A nap free period class and and a mental health time class,” Braelyn, junior, said.

“I think there should be a drama class; we could sell tickets to raise more money for school activities,” Sianna Jaggers, junior, said.

“Yes, we should have a marketing elective,” Mr. Patrick Riley, personal finance and economics, said.

High school students want electives that incorporate their interests and academic pathways.

“I wish we had an automotive class,” Eric Wilson Jr., freshman, said.

“I think we should have a sewing class; that would be something fun to have,” Shara Clark, sophomore, said.

“A sports analysis class would be cool to have as a class,” Noah Carter, senior, said.

“I know this is not a elective, but I wish we could leave early if we completed all the classes we need instead of taking extra electives,” Aadarsh Menon, senior, said.

“I would like an advanced psychology class and one on African history,” Ebonee Linder, senior, said.
