Spirit Week is over, homecoming is a memory; plans are underway for next year’s event.
Most students like Spirit Week.
“I like Spirit Week because it takes my mind off school and gives me a break from homework and stuff,” Bella Turner, freshman, said. “I have time to dress up, have fun, and match with my friends because it actually gives them time to focus on anything but school.”
Teachers like joining in Spirit Week too because it can be a lot of fun and gives them a chance to bond with students.
“It’s a lot of fun, and it’s fun to see what students come up with and how creative they can get with their costumes and the school’s themes, ” Coach Burton, PE teacher, said.
“It’s only fun if other students put effort into dressing up and coming up with creative costumes and ideas,” Rosaline Richord, freshman, said . “If no one actually tries to dress up or to do anything, then it’s just going to take the fun out of it.”
