The United States of America offers endless places it visit and live.
Students often dream of going to these places because some students do not want to stay in Virginia when they get older.
“There’s just nothing to do here,” Sara Carannante, freshman, said. “I would like to live in New York because there are a lot of job opportunities there. I want to go to the University of South Carolina since it is semi-close to home.
“I want to stay close to my family while I’m still in school,” Carannante said. “My dream place to visit is Hawaii. If I could go anywhere for twenty-four hours, I would go to Tennessee since I love country music and the famous people there.”
“I do not want to stay in Virginia, my family is moving to South Carolina soon and I want to stay with them,” Madeline Oliver, sophomore, said.
“I want to go to college at Charleston Southern University, because they have an amazing nursing program,” Oliver said. “When I move out I want to live in Florence, SC, because they have a good hospital for nursing,” Oliver said.
“My dream vacation is to go to Maine, since it is so close to Canada. If I could go anywhere for twenty-four hours, I would go to Alaska because nobody really goes there.”
“I do want to stay in Virginia,” Lyla Parris, freshman, said. “But if I had to live anywhere I would like to live in Florida.
“I want to go to Virginia Tech because my dad went to school there,” Parris said. “My dream vacation is to visit Hawaii; I just think it is so pretty. If I could go anywhere for twenty-four hours I would go to Florida because there is so much there to do,” Parris said.
“I would like to stay in Virginia because I value my family so much,” Carsyn Powers, freshman, said. “My dream place to live if I couldn’t stay in Virginia is Florida.
“My dream college to go to is Auburn, because I love their football team,” Powers said. “My dream place to visit is Hawaii since some of my family lives there. If I could go anywhere for twenty-four hours I would want to go to Tampa, Florida.”
