Students at CHS dream about the chance of being able to study outside the country.
The southern region of Europe is full of beautiful sites and opportunities.
“I would go to Italy because I love the views,” Emily Hankins, senior, said. “And the Italian food and culture is so amazing. I will definitely try to visit after college even if I can’t study there.”
“I would go to Italy,” Melody Hyler, freshman, said. “I have always had a love for the country, and I would definitely go if I had the chance.”
“I would go to Europe, specifically Italy,” Isabel Wyatt, senior, said. “It seems really fun, but I wouldn’t actually want to continue my education there; I’m going to DCC when I graduate.”
Nearby Greece is another popular possibility.
“If I were to continue my education [abroad], I would probably go to Greece,” Meagan Yeatts, senior, said. “I’d go because it can be cheap up there depending on the time of year you go, and they have beautiful waters and amazing views. It’s a good place to continue education and get a vacation.”
Central European countries are also a popular choice for studying abroad.
“I’d study in Germany or Switzerland,” Ethan Jacobs, junior, said. “It’s beautiful in those countries, there are friendly people, and the laws are pretty lax compared to other European countries. I’m not trying to go there though because I’m going into the military.”
“I’d go to Germany,” Darrian Sharolli, a senior, said. “It sounds cool, but I wouldn’t actually go to school because I’m doing real estate.”
Some students want to study where they feel most comfortable.
“I would want to continue my education in Hawaii,” Cheyenne Nash, a senior, said. “I love the ocean and the beaches, and I would love to study there and continue my education.”
Others want to continue their education in Southern Asia and a bustling city.
“I would continue my education in Thailand,” Jaiden Lipford, a senior, said. “Because I’ve always wanted to learn the language, culture, and see the places there. I will try when I’m a bit older to see if I can visit, then I’ll shoot my shot to stay for my education. ”
“If I could continue my education anywhere I would choose Thailand,” Jayla Millner, a senior, said. “Phuket, Thailand is such a beautiful place and I’d love to go for that reason. I probably wouldn’t do school in Thailand; I’d rather it be a vacation.”
