Seniors who continue their education into college or trade school often worry about one thing: cost.
Thankfully, some student financial aid exists to help students pay for their education after graduating.
“I feel like the government does provide enough financial aid for students,” Amber Blevins, senior, said. “I feel like I got an okay amount; the government has a lot of students to send money to.”
Some students feel like the federal government does not provide enough financial aid.
“I don’t think the federal government provides enough financial aid to students; they don’t take the time to understand the students needs,” Kajayla Giggetts, senior, said.”I have received some financial aid, but it’s not gonna be enough.”
“I need way more money then I’ve gotten for college because it’s so expensive,” Lacey Mulero, senior, said. “I’ve received aid but it is not enough.”
“The amount I received doesn’t even cover half of a year of tuition for college,” Zakayah Mansfield, senior, said. “I’ve received financial aid, but I do not think it’s fair, given that I still have to cover thousands in college tuition.”
Some people are still waiting to receive financial aid.
“The government does not provide enough financial aid to people,” Zaniah Bridgeforth, senior, said. “I haven’t received any because I haven’t finished applying, but I feel like I’ll need more than what they give me.”
