AI is a potential problem in classroom and jobs worldwide.
“We can use AI in class to get better grades,” Hollyne Weaver, freshmen, said. “I think AI is a form of cheating, because it’s not your own knowledge, it’s coming from a robot. I think AI will hinder the ability to learn; I feel AI will end up taking over jobs because its already taking over some. I believe AI is not a good use for classrooms or jobs.
Others have varying opinions.
“We can use AI because it can help a lot, but not for cheating,” Khloe Taylor, freshmen, said. “AI can be considered cheating for the whole paper, but not just for one question. I think AI can hinder your ability to learn because if I use that to answer all of my questions, then how will I know the real answer? AI has answered my question wrong before, and I did catch it. I also think robots are taking over many places including many stores.”
Others agree that AI should not be used for cheating.
“AI should not be used for classwork because it is not [always] factual,” Sara Carannate, freshmen, said. “AI can be cheating, but it depends on the situation. I think AI can hinder my ability to learn because I might get obsessed with it all the time. I do not think AI is going to take over jobs at all, because how are they going to become a waitress?”
