Most students love a variety of fast and home-cooked foods.
Some especially enjoy home-cooked meals.
“I prefer home cooked meals over fast food,” Mia Popolo, freshman, said. “I love my mom’s homemade spaghetti and sweet tea with ice. I probably eat spaghetti about once or twice a month. I was first introduced to it when I was three years old.”
“I would choose home-cooked food over fast food any day,” Jaysean Barley, freshman, said. “Home cooked food is way healthier. My favorite home cooked meal is chicken and rice with lemonade. I was introduced to it by my mother, when I was 12. I eat chicken and rice about three times a month.”
I prefer home cooked meals,” Tahija Adkins, sophomore, said. “I’ll know exactly what is being put in the food. I love chicken and potato wedges with Sprite. My mom makes it at least twice a week. I tried chicken and potato wedges when I was five.”
Others prefer fast food.
“I prefer fast food,” Emily Hankins, a senior, said. “Fast food tastes way better than home-cooked food, plus I can’t cook. I love Chick-fil-a. I get a chicken sandwich meal with sweet tea. My meal usually costs about nine dollars, and I eat it at least once a week. I first tried it a year ago and fell in love with it.”
“I would choose fast food,” Jaiden Lipford, senior, said. ” It’s more convenient and tastes better. My favorite fast food restaurant is Bojangle’s. I like to get a three piece chicken supreme combo with mashed potatoes and fries with sweet tea. My meal costs around $10. I eat Bojangles once every two weeks. I first tried Bojangles when I was around seven.”
