Students are conflicted with their opinions on school food.
Some students wait in line every day, trays in hand, wondering what’s for lunch, but not everyone is excited about what ends up on their plates.
“I wish the food tasted more fresh,” Jaiden Witcher, ninth grader, said. “Sometimes the food is too cold.”
Others say they appreciate the effort the cafeteria staff puts into serving hundreds of meals everyday.
“I think some people forget how much work it takes to feed everyone,” Chance Brumfield, freshman, said.”I actually like some of the food, especially the pizza crunchers.”
Many students agree that while the meals get the job done, they often lack variety and flavor.
“We have the same things over and over,” Bryson Kurby, freshman, said.”It would be nice to see something new once in a while.”
Others believe there’s room for improvement.
“It would be better if the food was fresher or we had more options,” Autumn France, sophomore, said.” Maybe then fewer people would throw away the food .”
