The girls softball team is proud of the season they played this year.

“Our second Magna Vista game because we came back from a really low score and came from behind to win. The position I play is right field, and I enjoy it because I can make good plays,” said Trinity Custer, sophomore.

Custer says her favorite thing about her team’s bond is that they have good communication.

“Our home game against Basset was my favorite thing because they were a tough team, and we came out with a win it brought us closer as a team because we realized what we were capable of when we played together and not for ourselves. The position I play is shortstop; I love how it keeps me on my toes, and it gives me an opportunity to be included in most plays,” said Nicole Emerson, a sophomore.

Emerson says the team has their ups and downs, but through it all they have gotten closer over the season.
