Christmas break is a wonderful time spent with family and friends.
Students enjoy making gingerbread and decorating for the holiday.
There are a lot of different traditions people do for Christmas.
“One of our family traditions is we all decorate the tree together and make Christmas candy,” Sidney Yarboro, senior, said. “The best thing is getting to open my presents and eat the food.”
“We play a bunch of games on Christmas day when we get together,” Jaylynn McConnell, freshman, said. “My favorite thing is when we get to open presents.”
“I go see the Christmas lights every year with my best friend,” Hollie Swanson, junior, said. “Sometimes my family and I go to Gatlinburg, Tennessee, during Christmas time. My favorite thing is going out of town.”
Students can do a lot of fun things during this holiday like going to see the lights, going to a Christmas parade, going to big cities to see the lights and all of their decorations, and watching Christmas movies.
“I watch Christmas movies with my sister and eat chocolate,” Rayleigh Emerson, freshman, said. “My favorite thing about Christmas is the decorations and the tree.”
