The Perks of Being a Wallflower Review

The Perks of Being a Wallflower may be one of the best movies I’ve ever seen.

The Perks of Being a Wallflower is an entertaining drama that depicts the story of a teenager who begins his high school life. I really enjoyed this movie because of how realistic it portrayed high school students’ lives.

For this movie I would give rate it a 4/5 stars, because I think it could have explained more about what happened between Charlie and his aunt instead of cramming it all in the end.

One scene from the movie that captivated me was the scene when Charlie was comforting Patrick, and he hugged Patrick while he cried. I think it was a very touching scene between two friends who were going through tough times.

I certainly would recommend this movie to others. I think the movie is almost as good as the book although some scenes from the book are left out.

The only scene I really didn’t like was when Charlie was asked to kiss the prettiest girl in the room, and he didn’t kiss his girlfriend; instead he kissed one of his friends. I thought that scene was very awkward and overall unneeded. I think he should have kissed his girlfriend and not his friend but at least he he was honest.

One thing I’ve learned from this movie is that if something bad has ever happened to me, I should speak up about it instead of bottling it up inside of me. Another thing I learned from this movie was that I should have courage when making friends and not be so shy.
