The Best and Worst Halloween Candy

Love it or leave it: Which is YOUR favorite Halloween candy?

Candy corn was the worst Halloween candy for the majority.

“I dislike candy corn because the aftertaste is nasty to me,” said Zachary Stowe, sophomore. “I think it’s something about the artificial flavor that makes it gross.” said Stowe.

“It is hard to eat candy corn in large amounts; it’s only good when you eat a few here and there,” said Mrs. Kimberly Dooley, history teacher.

Whoppers are the most dreadful candy to a minority.

“Whoppers are the worst candy to get because they are so bland,” said Kaylee Bergeron, a junior.

Almond Joys is a terrible Halloween candy according to another minority.

“I think the grossest candy in existence is Almond Joys; coconut and chocolate should not mix,” said Katie Turner, a sophomore.

Almost everyone agrees that anything with peanut butter and chocolate makes the best Halloween candy.

“I love Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups because of the chocolate and peanut butter in it; I think it’s the best combination,” said Mr. Patrick Riley, personal finance teacher.

“I love anything as long as it has chocolate with peanut butter,” said Coach Hall, physical education teacher.

Others love Nerds.

“Nerds are the best; I love the sour taste, and they come in fun colors,” said Shane Mays, a junior.
